Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Donna Giovanna. The following Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between the structure and the Guest. The confirmation of the reservation implies full acceptance of these regulations.
1. Reservations and Payments
Confirmation: The reservation is considered confirmed only upon receipt of the confirmation email.
Payment of the stay can be made in the following ways: 1) Single solution: Payment of the full amount at the time of booking. 2) Guaranteed Deposit: You can confirm the reservation by paying a deposit of 30% of the total. The balance must be paid at check-in.
Tourist tax: The city tax of the Municipality of Sorrento is not included in the price of the property and must be paid in cash upon arrival.
2. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation fees vary according to the rate chosen (Refundable or Non-Refundable):
Standard Rate: Free cancellation up to 30 days before arrival. In case of late cancellation or no-show, the full amount of the stay will be charged.
Non-Refundable Fee: The total amount is charged at the time of booking and there is no refund in case of cancellation or modification.
3. Check-in and Check-out
Check-in: Rooms are available from 14:30 until 20:00. Any "Late Check-in" are subject to a supplement of €50 with arrival by 00:00 and €80 after 00:00. Please let us know your expected arrival time at least 24 hours in advance.
Check-out: by 10:00 am. Any late check-out requests are subject to availability and may be subject to a surcharge.
4. House Rules and Use of Spaces
Villa: Access to the structure is prohibited to external and unregistered persons.
Swimming pool and terraces: The use of the swimming pool and common areas is reserved exclusively for registered guests. Access to unauthorized external persons is prohibited.
Furnishings and Majolica: Guests are required to treat the structure and its precious handcrafted furnishings with care. Any damage caused to the structure, the facilities or the furniture will be charged to the guest.
Smoking: Smoking is strictly forbidden inside the rooms and the internal common areas. Smoking is allowed only in the outdoor areas (terraces and swimming pool) using the ashtrays provided.
Pets: Pets are not allowed.
5. Responsibility
Donna Giovanna is not liable for any theft, loss or damage to objects owned by guests left unattended in the rooms or in the common areas. The property is equipped with a safe for the storage of valuables.
6. Force Majeure
The structure is not responsible for disruptions due to force majeure (interruptions of electricity, water or internet connection independent of our will) or for adverse weather conditions that limit the use of the pool and the terraces.
7. Security deposit
At check-in, the customer is required to pay a security deposit of € 500, by cash or credit/debit card.
This amount is guaranteed any damage caused to the property, furnishings, facilities or equipment of the holiday home during the stay.
The deposit will be returned in full at the time of check-out, subject to verification of the status of the property by the lessor or his delegate.
In the event of damage, the lessor will retain the amount necessary for the restoration or replacement of the damaged property, except for the right to compensation for the greater damage if the extent of the injury exceeds the amount of the security.
8. Extended stays
For stays longer than one week, we offer a change of linen to ensure maximum comfort. On request, it is always possible to book extra house cleaning, at a cost of €20.00 per hour.
